	How do I put things in my signature?

Solution Your 'signature' is the area directly below any post text you make. It's a good way to show off a bit of your personality with pictures, favorite sayings or quotes, or small messages. You can also provide links to your author's page from here.

To access your signature:
1. Click on My Settings (located in the upper right portion of your screen when you are on the forums)
2. Click on the Profile tab and select Change Signature (located on the left side of your screen)
3. A text box will appear, and it is here you can add your signature material.

When you click on "Update my Signature", you will be shown what your signature will look like.

To put a picture/graphic in your signature:
1. You will need to host your picture on a separate off-site place like Tiny Pic or Photobucket.
2. Within this signature text box, click on the little icon that looks like a rising sun (when you place your cursor over this box, the words Insert Image will appear).
3. Paste the URL of your picture in the box that will pop up, and click OK.

To put a link in your signature:
1. Type in the words that you wish to act as your link. (example: My Stories).
2. Highlight those words.
3. Within this signature box, click on the little icon that looks like a green arrow and a plus sign (when you place your cursor over this box, the words Insert Link will appear).
4. Paste the URL of your link in the box that will pop up, and click OK.

Before putting a link in your signature, make sure you brush up on the Forum Rules. Please note that links in signatures MUST be rated using the 12+, 15+ or M rating system we have in place at HPFF. Linking to NC-17 material is NOT permitted.
